Payment requests & checkout

Create, share and follow a payment request

Use a payment link for remote customers and keep track of the original request.

Create and share

Open Payment Requests and choose Create. Review the available amount, asset and network options, then check the request before sharing it with the customer. Use the sharing action for the request so the customer receives the correct link.

  1. Check the payment amount and relevant customer or invoice details.
  2. Create the request and keep its reference.
  3. Share the generated link with the intended customer.

Find a request again

The Payment Requests screen includes All, Pending, Paid, Expired and Cancelled filters. Start with All if you cannot find a request under its expected status. Check you are viewing the correct business.

Cancel or replace a request

The current app offers cancellation for pending requests. Confirm whether the customer has already sent payment before cancelling or issuing a replacement. Cancellation changes the request; it does not reverse a blockchain payment.

A customer cannot open the link

Check you shared the complete generated link and that the request is still active. Ask for the error text and the device/browser they are using. If the request is already paid, expired or cancelled, investigate its status before sending another link.
